Best Places To Visit in Cape Town

Cape Town is said to be one of the world’s beautiful cities and it truly is. I’ve been there twice and can’t wait to visit again! I have a thing for cities with quick access to mountains and beaches. Rio De Janeiro is another similar city that I like. If you’re trying to figure out when to visit, summer time in Cape Town is November through February with average temperatures of 73 °F (23 °C). May through August is winter time with average temperatures of 55 °F (13 °C). I haven’t been to all the tourist attractions but below are some of them. Some of these places will be better…

Fun Things To Do In Antigua

Have you heard of Antigua and Barbuda? Not Antigua in Guatemala. When I told people I was visiting Antigua, 99% of them have never heard of the country. It’s 324 miles from Puerto Rico. East of US Virgin Islands and North of Barbados. Here it is on the map:   If you are wanting to avoid the resort route, I’d advise you don’t. The resorts offer a lot of things to do and you don’t have to worry about transportation or food, like I did. Southern Africa Travel Guide

There is nowhere like Africa. It is a continent (NOT a country) that encompasses a wide variety of cultures, ecosystems, languages, and religions. Although Africa continues to be exploited by foreign interests, it has the potential to be great.   Countries visited: South Africa, Mozambique, Swaziland, Lesotho*Total time spent: 5 weeks *Lesotho is only mentioned once in this post because I was there for 3 hours  This trip was not my first time on the continent. Nigeria is the only African nation I am familiar with. Lived there for 2.5 years at age 7 and was last there in 2015. I quickly realized that Nigeria isn’t like South Africa. South…

One Day Cooking Class in Italy

Maybe it’s just me, but I noticed how oversaturated the cooking class business in Italy is. Too many to choose from depending on what you’re looking. And the cuisine varies from region to region. Sapori e Saperi, in my opinion, was worth every nickel and dime. Disclaimer: This was self-sponsored. All opinions expressed are my own.     Our chef’s name was Gabriella. She is Italian and has lived all her life in Italy. Class Location: Gabriella’s house, near Viareggio in the Tuscany regionClass Date: May 2017Duration: Approx. 6 hoursStart time: 9 AM We first met up at the pier. Spent approximately 20 minutes there. Gabrielle brought some freshly caught seafood from…
